Project Description:S.E.M. Construction provided Construction Management services for the new Babcock Community Care Centre, a 43,500 sq. ft., 64-bed long-term care home in Wardsville, Ontario. Developed to replace the existing 60-bed facility, the project responded to the Ministry’s initiative to construct and renovate new beds, aligning with Ontario’s goal of creating 50,000 new long-term care beds by 2030. Designed to support residents, families, and caregivers, the facility features modern resident home areas, abundant natural light, and welcoming outdoor spaces. Engaged from early planning through completion, S.E.M. worked closely with the owner and consultant team to successfully deliver a state-of-the-art home that will serve the community for years to come.
