About the Job
Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities of Site Superintendent:

  • Provide a lead role onsite for health and safety and adhere to all MOL and COR requirements at
    all times.
  • Lead and develop 2 & 4 week look ahead schedules as required that are based on the overall
    project schedule.
  • Lead the project site team in achieving project milestones on time and in an organized and
    coordinated manner.
  • Guide and provide supervision to self perform manpower during work activities and ensure
    material is available and production is steady.
  • Review, understand and control site related costs with the project team and work in the
    confines of a budget.
  • Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.
  • Communicate with Project Team regarding RFI’s, SI’s, Material Submittals & Schedule.
  • Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.
  • Maintain daily log (Fieldwire) of activities on the jobsite.
  • Walk all units on project daily to monitor activities and assist in future planning.
  • Preside over weekly subcontractor meetings designed to coordinate the work.
  • Perform job progress and completion of punch list identification and completion.
    Secondary Functions:
  • Gather project material submittals and maintain records of approvals at the jobsite.
  • Identify areas of work that are outside of subcontracted scope.
  • Opening the jobsite at beginning of the day and securing the jobsite at the end of the day.

About the Role
You’ll play a key leadership role within our Special Projects division—supporting field operations,
coordinating with project stakeholders, and ensuring high standards of safety, communication, and
workmanship. You’ll work closely with our Special Projects Manager, Field Coordinator, and
Superintendents to keep projects running smoothly from start to finish.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead by example and maintain a positive, motivated crew environment
  • Act as communication link between crews, superintendents, trades, and owners
  • Support Procore documentation (photos, safety inputs, drawings)
  • Manage material ordering and supplier followups
  • Review drawings and ensure compliance with specifications
  • Support timesheet coding for yourself and your crew
  • Promote housekeeping, assist with tool audits and planning
  • Complete DHAs, comply with JHAs, and promote a strong safety culture
  • Assisting with hands on site tasks as required
  • Support Local 1059 obligations and member issues

What You Bring

  • Experience as a Foreman or Lead Hand
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to interpret drawings and specifications
  • Familiarity with Procore (or willingness to learn)
  • Understanding of safety requirements, COR standards, and union responsibilities

  • Experience: 2+ years (in current role)
  • Education: Post Secondary Education in a related role
  • Certification: encouraged to work towards Gold Seal Essential Functions / Major

Responsibilities of Project Coordinator:

  1. Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  2. Assist with the setup and of start projects including coordination with building departments,
    government regulatory bodies, engineers, architects, and other consultants
  3. Assist as required in the
    preparation and review of all construction cost reports and forecasts looking for early warning signs of
    potential risk and developing effective plans to overcome/mitigate.
  4. Participate in various project/site meetings.
  5. Main point of contact throughout the project for all submittals and coordination duties
  6. Assist with client billings, approvals and expedite change order approvals

Secondary Functions:

  1. Participate in growth and training opportunities for themselves
  2. Be actively involved in project, company and local community programs
  3. Other Duties as assigned
