Project Description:S.E.M. Construction has successfully completed three new three-storey apartment buildings at the Lucan Woods Condominium site in Lucan, Ontario. The buildings are designed with aesthetic appeal, featuring a harmonious blend of neutral stone, brick, and metal siding that complements the existing architecture in the area.
Each structure contains 23 generously sized units, ranging from one-bedroom to two-bedroom plus den configurations. The design of each unit promotes an open concept layout that seamlessly connects the entry, kitchen, and living room, enhancing both comfort and the flow of natural light. This project faced several unique challenges, showcasing S.E.M. Construction’s expertise in managing winter construction projects within a constrained timeline. Additionally, it highlights the company’s comprehensive knowledge of fireproofing and fire separation requirements in multi-residential environments, as well as the significance of sound transmission class (STC) ratings.
