S.E.M. has completed Western University’s Indigenous Learning Center, where they gave the old library a much-needed face lift. This architecturally driven project contains new offices, kitchens, and bathrooms with lots of nature inspired finishes, curved walls, and glass. The building also has a new, high efficiency heating and cooling system, as well as LED lighting. In addition to the interior upgrades, S.E.M. also constructed an exterior, sunken, circular classroom complete with a fire pit, arbor, seating, lighting and landscaping.
